MCA’s Correspondent in Costa Rica is Mr. Juan Carlos Rossi-Lara. Mr. Rossi attended Law School at the University of Costa Rica and is fluent in English and Spanish. He oversees our non-lawyer operational Correspondence from San Jose.

His organization is able to give service to our clients at all of the ports of Costa Rica including Puerto Limon, Puerto Calderas, Puntarenas, Punta Morales, Moin and others. Mr. Rossi’s experience includes being the senior partner at MEDINTER S.A., an operation with office in the 3 main cities of Costa Rica. His organizational ability and responsibility have made him a leader in port agencies, tank container operations, project handling and other areas of the shipping and logistics industry in Costa Rica. Mr. Rossi has over 22 years experience in Maritime/logistical and insurance activities. Mr. Rossi has also been involved in other economic activities such as imports/exports and stevedoring organizations.

He has successfully handled cases for the P&I Clubs involving, but not exclusive of, groundings and damages to vessels, port equipment, stowaways, injuries to crew, members, passengers and stevedores, vessel arrest, etc.
