MCA's Correspondent for this Region is MCA-CHILE an independent and new service of AGUNSA, a corporation that expertly combines these two characteristics. AGUNSA’s activities include skill as a port service provider with offices in 8 countries including Chile, Peru, Ecuador and Colombia. This company has over 40 years experience in agencies, bunkering, logistics distribution and cargo operations. Today it is a fast growing group involved in related business throughout the Americas. This illustrates why AGUNSA is perfectly positioned to expand its services to include MCA's Correspondence activities.

MCA-CHILE provides dedicated correspondent services in the main ports, Arica, Iquique, Antofagasta,Chañaral, Valparaiso, Quinteros, San Antonio, San Vicente, Puerto Montt and Punta Arenas.

To lead the operations of MCA-CHILE; AGUNSA has assigned Mr. Patricio Valenzuela who has proven knowledge and recognition of the maritime industry in the region. He holds an engineering degree in Transportation and an MBA from the Catholic University Pontificia de Valparaiso. His practical experience come from being at CCNI(Compania de Navegacion Interoceanica) 10 years and since 1987 in AGENCIA UNIVERSALES, AGUNSA. He is Operations Manager of APL in charge of AGUNSA and Head of the Agency Service Control (products) for AGUNSA.
